Cons: it needs upgrading the entire layout to a newer looking program. The alarm needs to be louder, put some colour in it from green to orange or red, etc.
I am having difficulty with this setup after I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled Win 7. I do not see any help with the setup, I am stuck on the absolute and relative pressures, what goes there?
I recently had to upgrade my computer from XP to W7. Before I did this, I downloaded my history to an external hard drive. I have installed 6.2 to my computer but I can't find a way to add my previous history. Is there any way or am I out of luck?
In the same directory as the task (EasyWeather.exe) there is a file called EasyWeather.dat.
That file seems to hold the historical data in a binary form - mine is now almost 18Mbyte. If you have wiped that file you are in trouble unless someone can provide you with a way to re-import the saved text data.
EW works very well for day-to-day recording of my station but despite the instruction book's claims and any amount of trial-n-error, I cannot remove certain max/min readings on the console or reset the rain total. As certain helpful small boys occasionally take a delight in messing with the outdoor station I get spurious measurements I would like to erase.
What I miss that almost all other software has is the ability to create our own weather view page, it allows you to edit some stuff but I can for example not add a thermometer, or wind gage to show how strong and so on, with they can ad this in the software then this would be top of the range, ad some nice goodies with colours and so on and its 100%
I live in a very dry area, consequently rainfall which is minimal becomes near a flat line, as do some other readings. If I could alter the range displayed on the graph it would make more sense. Also rain is portrayed as cumulative, rather than either cumulative or individual showers. Peak outdoor temperature shows as 30°C in mid winter @ 35° South; I think not.

This works for me :- In graph view, place the mouse pointer just above and to the left of the portion you want to enlarge, then drag an imaginary oblong to just below and right of the portion you are interested ( at this point no change to the screen is seen) on releasing the mouse button, the selected area is enlarged.
I find this a very informative program. It is informative to the point that people want to see it when they drop in for a drink. As a gardener I would like to see moon phase included, for good planting. When I travel abroad I would like to check on ..my.. weather back home. especially as it could inform me of floods or high winds here in the South of Portugal and allow me to request neighbors to check any potential problems from climate. But all in all it is a great..software/hardware..combination... I would highly recommend it..
Bonjour Print Services for Windows is a very useful tool that allows you to discover, manage and use in best conditions Bonjour enabled printers connected to you'r personal computer using Bonjour Printer Wizard. With this program you can set you'r printer to work with best setings and conditions.
