Easyweather 9.3 needs another update, works with win11, but the upload to metservice, cannot be done as their server requires both ID's, Is there anyother software that is compatible with uploads
In version 9.3.1 I'm disappointed that the max/min can't be removed/reset to zero. During set up several tests were run, now that data is showing as high/low and it can't be removed. Everything else appears to be working properly. Reports to Wunderground without any problems.
I get : cannot open database/ invalid pointer. When trying to get data from my EasyWeather 9.5. I think this is the end of my weather station. Any tips?
Colliewalker, I found the same - it has stopped working with a Win 10 updtae sometime in the last year or so.
Any responses/instructions on what to do would be helpful to quite afew users, I guess.
My need is to output data to "wunderground"...
There are no instructions giving help when something does not work alright. And the program does not function properly: the graphic display does not appear, the time is one hour astray.
I have set this weather station as per instructions but the rain gauge is active in windy conditions and has registered 108 mils in three hot dry and gusty days. Can anyone offer some advice to stop this from happening please? Version 8.3
You need to make sure the outdoor kit is very rigidly mounted. The rain gauge is a water see-saw and if the kit oscillates in windy conditions it will tip the see-saw and record that as rainfall.
Thanks for the advice. I'm having the same problem. I have the gauge mounted on a 1.5 m (5ft) 25 mm (1") square ally tube above a 1.8 m (6ft) rigid fence post.
As the wire is quite long, I'm going to try mounting the rain gauge at the bottom of the pole. I'll post what happens. Any other comments appreciated.
Just installed easy weather 8, it will not display outside temp on the graph, only inside temp wind chill and dew point.
Can anyone suggest what to do?

During testing I downloaded latest software 8.2 which also works now. However I can not reset the max min information. It would be nice if somebody took the time to write single finger key stroke directions on how to set up and use the device. Including some comments on the way the device actually reads the information and manipulates the data before it is transmitted to the receiver and then the receiver appears to perform additional manipulation before the computer software also manipulates the information.
I've been using version 6.2 since 2010 with few problems until middle September 2014 when the software suddenly would not connect to the receiver. Apparently removing the batteries for several minutes or moving the cord around trying to trouble shoot the problem caused everything to suddenly start working. Go Figure. more later.
I had the same problem but it turned out to be a dodgy USB lead.
I ended up buying a male-to-male USB connector so I could use a standard USB lead.
There is a nice little USB utility for Windows called usbview.exe (Google for it) it shows all the details of the interface but especially shows if the connection is intermittent.
Removing the internal batteries wipes the memory. )-:
When I graph the temperature history, the red (outdoor temperature) line is not there. In my setup, the outdoor station is in the basement. So the wind speed is 0. Does this mean the wind chill line would be the same as the outdoor temperature line and, thus, I cannot see the outdoor temperature line?
Yes!
I had the same problem. For a long time only the orange line was visible, but as conditions changed, the red line re-appeared. Look in history and you will find the data columns showing the same values.

Guest, It is possible to have 2 screens running on one outdoor station, provided you comply with a couple of constraints.
1) There are at least 2 versions of the outdoor sender, and the screen channel must match the sender channel. Inside the screen battery compartment under the batteries should be a small green sticker. I have seen code 7B and 14B on screens (I have no idea if there are any others). The screen you are currently using will have such a channel code, and a second screen must have the same code or it will not connect to the outdoor unit. Given the same code, 2 screens will receive data from the one outdoor station.
2) Each screen must connect to a different computer, because you can't have more than one instance of the Easyweather software running on a single computer, and if you have 2 screens connecting to the one version of the software, even if it is not at the same time, it corrupts the data collected making it unusable.

If so, how?
